Somewhat related: this flagship launch title will reportedly only run at 900p on the Switch. That tells me all I need to know about future 3rd party support. That’s why there’s no plans to bring ME: Andromeda to the Switch. The system probably can’t handle it without massive downgrades.
Except the console not all that powerful...
Got any proof there? I’m genuinely curious.
The GameStop closest to me actually had less than 25 PS4 available at launch. They also only got around 7 Pokémon Go Plus and 10 NES Classic.
Nintendo and has solidified my theory that they are a company full of brilliant artists, designers and technicians that, at some point, got infiltrated by a mob of brain-damaged, glue-eating lemurs that somehow got entrusted with 50% of the company’s decision making.
This schedule is the biggest reason I’m holding off on purchasing the Switch.
Yes. It does. The Switch is a 6.2" diagonal, according to the chart above (which was made for phones), shows that QuadHD is actually the best looking option at a short distance (handheld).
“Why are there humans Mario and Peach should be the only ones”
I can feel Luigi´s pain like it is my own.
talking about it with colleagues, not impressed by power, price of controllers and mostly lineup :-/
Focusing on gimmicky shit w/ the controllers - again.
Super Mario not being a launch title.
An apparent complete and utter lack of any worthwhile launch titles other than Zelda.
Watching the Nintendo Switch presentation is like watching an ex girlfriend who has so much potential but is totally making the same fucking mistakes over and over and you just want to shake them and tell them to stop.
thats really the problem isnt it? It was for nobody. No one had this console as their primary console, it was always just a sumplement to the other big ones.
Not really cracking it open. Just sliding off one piece of plastic. Gawker Media even did an article on such a thing: http://lifehacker.com/how-to-replace-your-playstation-4s-hard-drive-1744243134
There goes a reason to buy a Xbone...
The Last Guardian seemed like fitting closure for the Ueda trilogy. I’ve been a frothing-at-the-mouth fanboy since ICO (though I cannot claim I was savvy enough to purchase it on day one; a good friend of mine introduced me to it a few months after it had launched, back when we were in college), and while TLG is not…
Because he is one of the few visionaries in gaming that is willing to make something different and not a sequel.
Now now, I can’t go espousing ALL my anger and frustration in the Kotaku comments at 10am on xmas morning.
I think it’s great that Tesla has a sense of humor. The Big Three certainly don’t. Things like make me like Musk and Tesla much more. Life should be fun; it’s nice that some fun energy is put into these newer products. I hope Tesla keeps doing stuff like this.
