The switch’s screen is made of plastic. The dock is made of plastic. Plastic can scratch plastic. If it were made of glass the dock wouldn’t be able to do anything to it, but if you happen to put it in at the wrong angle the dock can scratch the screen very easily.

Yup only one I saw the reviews say it peels away was the hori premium one. The regular one (plastic) does fine though, but tempered glass ftw.

The way these companies handle os and their functions is that they set aside a set amount of resources to run the os and the rest is for games. They can never take away resources from games to use for the os because that would cause compatibility issues (for example a game needs 4GB of ram to run but Nintendo suddenly

Now I can murder those steeds those pesky bokoblins like to ride e_e no mercy.

Well the screen is plastic so push it in at the wrong angle and it can scratch it. Also people have been saying there are different versions of the dock. One comes with no rubber pieces on the part that faces the switches screen, some have two rubber pieces on the bottom, and some have two rubber pieces on the bottom

And how does one take away from the other? Not having Netflix at launch doesn’t make it a stronger game machine. It makes it weaker in comparison to the competition.

Come on now. You and I and the whole world know it was the memory card prices that killed that thing. Are you really alluding that it’s ok the switch is missing so many features? What’s your justification for that? The vita was a handheld only and those features were used but not as widely. They weren’t as key on a

lol not having Netflix would not give the device any more power to run games. Them not having Netflix at launch is them dropping the ball again. Yes we have many devices that can do it, but it’s such a common feature that many would use and many expect. Literally the only thing this can do is play games. It can’t play

Had the same thought. I literally thought is was cosplay until I read photo mode.

This happened once before a couple years ago and impacted messaging pretty severely. It took a little while to sort out but it was quietly fixed. I imagine the same will happen again.

Ran into it last night. I even made sure I updated while the joycons were attached to the console. If the issue had been fixed, Nintendo wouldn’t have sent out that statement on probable causes the day of release.

And $90 for a freaking dock.

If you get a battery pack keep the switch plugged into it while you play because I’ve been hearing that most packs can’t charge the switch sufficitely to keep it from draining while playing. If you plug it in from the start your battery will still go down, but at a slower rate.

Exactly this. Joy con issues, friend codes, an untested paid online service. Outside of Zelda there’s no reason to get a switch. It’s better to wait until the joy con issue is ironed out, more info is available on their online services, and more games come out to make the $300 purchase worth it.

Aw =( auto correct took the bite out of my punch =( it stays as is e_e

Yeah because people are going to go with either a dead console, or wait for a console they won’t even be able to get for months for Zelda. I’m sure horizon is quacking in its boots /S

Just please don’t make the ending as shitty as mordors was.

It definitely is out of left field for them after shadowfall. I expected low 80's on metacritic, but not this type of response.

Dip-Stick?

I cannot wait for next Tuesday. I’m amazed at what geurrilla can pull off when the reigns are loosened. I need this game in my life.
