Yeah that’s true. Anyone who wants to learn their class can pretty easily by playing a few low level dungeons and then ramping it up. The story stuff to me is more situational. I loved the story and it’s the main reason I got so engrossed in the game, but if others want to pay to go through it quickly then whatever.

I see both sides of the coin. On one side I get that if you just pay to boost your job to level 50 then you don’t know how to play your class and there’s going to be those that find themselves with a steep learning curve to overcome just to be competent. On the other side though Yoshida has a point. They need new

I actually find psn to be much more reliable than xbl in regards to up time. Xbl this gen has been a shit show with going down. Much worse than the 360 days. Now download speeds I still find xbl to be faster than psn.

Alright thanks!

The co op multiplayer, is it local as well or online only? If it’s online only is this a title I should pick up digitally so my girlfriend and I can play it together or does it not add a whole lot to the game?

Very good review Fahey. I’m glad you got this one, it was beautifully written.

Good for him. Game dev work is brutal and everyone needs time to recharge after what I’m sure has been a relentless few years.

It’s like a fucking Sony commercial circa 2006.

Holy shit their updated engine looks gorgeous.

“That would more than make up for the lack of online.”

Yeah but the game comes out in 3 months and at least a month of that has to be printing and shipping discs. I don’t see it getting much better by then but I’ll stay optimistic.

Aye in certain scenes it was pretty bad. I’m hoping it runs better on switch but looking back at the switch reveal it was choppy there too.

Man that gameplay was choppy as heck. No way am I getting it for wiiu if it runs like that. The game looked awesome though and I love how many different elements they’re throwing into the gameplay.

Ah no worries mate =)

Remasters means they port the code to run in x86 architecture and thatcomes with a whole slew of development behind it. Backwards compatibility means your PS4 is basically emulating a PS3. Which means emulating the ram, the CPU, and the architecture so you can just pop in a PS3 disc and it thinks it’s in a PS3. That

Not exactly the easiest thing considering the crazy processor and architecture they went with last gen. That’s probably why we haven’t seen BC on PS4 because they know they probably can’t.

Yeah that was me jumping the gun and I apologize for it. I think the only reason PS4 users get it first is because psn updates on tuesdays and xbox updates on wednesdays.

Backwards compatibility has nothing to do with how hard it is to port a game to x1 and PS4. That has to do with how hard cell architecture was. This is just probably ms throwing some money at the devs to get a short window of exclusivity.

Haha sounds like heaven to me
