Why do you assume he was talking to you?
Don't even try. Any time you bring up something bad about xbox he has to throw the playstation into the fray.
it's supposedly in the update next week.
Bit touchy aren't we?
He meant it was supposed to be in the "coming soon" section.
He probably used his extra lives as a buffer so he could free the ol trouser snake.
I agree infamous is the closest we've gotten so far. 60fps would have been nice (the last boss fight is supposed to be 60fps,) but I'm still happy with what they were able to accomplish 5 month out of launch.
Necessary? Probably not. Welcomed with open arms? Definitely. Like I said, the hardware was way too old. It sucks we didn't get a big leap like last gen but come on. 512MB of ram and a hour and CPU that are outdated as hell. They will keep on making good last gen games for the next few years, but it's time to start…
We would have never gotten uncharted, the last of us, or gears of war on the ps2 and xbox. And if we did they would have been lesser experiences. It's a good time to start that shift into next gen and the potential it can have.
I'd say quite a few people wanted next gen. The visuals and games devs were able to pump out on 512mb of ram was astounding but by todays standards that's way too low. The hardware was showing it's age and it was time for something new. Progress tends to stagnate if you stick with something for too long and games at…
When it released I mean.
Tomb Raider DE was $60 wasn't it?
No....'goes back to the ps3 version and weeps silently'
Mhm but I don't think it'll be too easy for others to do in a relatively short period of time.
The modder that did a lot of leg work fixing ds1 on PC said that adding in lighting effect would be too hard for ds2 so he's probably not going to do it.
Not only that but micro transactions for fast travel is such a bad decision. Why put something that's important in big open world games behind a pay wall.
Not only that but they're going for parity across all platforms. So the PC and ps4 version will be held back by the x1 version.
Jesus.
Wishful thinking but I really hope they keep up with the episodic content after paper trail finished. It'll add longevity to the game and paper trail is set up in a great way.
