I get what you're saying and I think you missed the point of my first post. The person I replied to said that cops in his country aren't allowed to shoot at the upper body. Bull. If a cop fires his weapon it is shoot to kill. Not shoot to warn or disarm. Kill. If the threat drops the weapon after he has been fired at then yes the cop will stop firing, but those original shots were to kill.

I find it extremely hard to believe that it is illegal to shoot the upper body on an attacker wherever you live. Destructible environments would be fun and I think it's smart to handle qte's the way they are. I'm fine with third person cover mechanics as long as you have to push or hold a button to go into cover. I don't like it when you stick to cover and you have to move to unstick yourself.
