man, I recon you should do a little research on what it takes to run an mmo of that scale. Seriously, do it and then tell me it's their fault again.

I see. Thanks for the comment. :)
Man, you sure have some humanity left in you. I have no intention of starting a drama war here, but you seriously need to think about your view on the world. All that selfishness and negativity goes to you at the end of the day. Go help a stranger - you'll feel a lot better. :)
It's an mmorpg. Do you even comprehend what needs to be done and what kind of servers are needed to support so many people playing together all around the world flawlessly? Do you even appreciate the age we are living in?
Diablo 3, Any WoW Expansion, GW2, SWTOR, Allods, Aion (in fact ANY NCSoft game)...
I think the company, which everyone hates so much, is actually coping pretty well, taking everything into consideration. Many people have been working overtime, gotten fired and are sweating blood for this to happen, yet you guys keep bitching about it, instead of being patient and letting it go steady. Everything…
I went to a Japanese server for a little while and it seemed rather bizzare to me how nobody was talking in Japanese in the main chat. Everyone in main chat was talking in English and (surprisingly) there was no spam to buy Gil.
Pro (or not so Pro) Tip: Hit 0 on the numpad from the start menu, keep pressing until you log in. Has done wonders for me. :)
It's thanks to YOU, Sir, that people couldn't log into the game.
Thank you Jane. This is something I've been trying to tell my friends for a long time. Seeing this article and your book makes me feel less alone in this matter, so thank you so much for this.
Disaster? This is to be completely expected with an mmo launch. As someone who was at this launch I wouldn't call it nowhere near disaster. It was a lot smoother than SWTOR or GW2 and also taking into account the fact that a lot more people got the game than expected. Also closing the sales and new character for the…
What if I told you.... This is not the trailer from comic-con.
One of my favourite games of all time. I've played Persona 3 only about 8 times. Just to make sure I go through everything on perfect, without using a guide. Enjoyed every single bit of it. The music definitely makes it more enjoyable though. And the characters just kind of... grow on you. As a female on the PSP…
So dude, I don't see what the problem here is. Instead of writing all these confusing things you should've just said that people should manage their expectations better and be mentally prepared of what might or might not happen. Simple as that. And I completely agree with it. :)
Hey Deveroth. I get where you're coming from. I really do. I've had lots of guys hitting on me, stopping me to tell me that I have a nice style or compliment my hair or whatever - it makes me happy. It's exactly what I want - people to notice it and think it's pretty. But going further than that can get awkward. My…
No. What I meant was I like having matching colour shoes and bag and would spend more than the average amount of money on a quality piece of clothing. I have dresses, I have skirts, but I respect myself more than to dress like a slut. I'm just pointing out that I don't go out wearing jeans and themed tshirt, which is…
Yes, there are. And their most common trait is being obsessive about something. Something like games, for example. :)
Probably. But it comes out the totally wrong way. I wouldn't go out with someone who doesn't play games either, I understand completely. But they act like it's the last female that's capable of understanding them on the planet. Fight to the death. And don't take 'no' for an answer.
As much as that is true, from what I've heard from my female co-workers and friends, people who know that you're a girl and like to play games get overly obsessive. Literally. To a point where it's seriously borderline stalking and talking like overly attached girlfriend.
As a woman who dreams to go to E3, (and have a sense of fashion) I am highly disturbed by this. I work for the game industry and I consider myself lucky to have never met creeps like this.
