A fair point. I don’t appreciate this particular evolutionary path, nor did I appreciate the path used for XIII, but a great many people do and did, and as long as they’re enjoying, that’s all that matters.

It is clear that Final Fantasy has changed direction pretty significantly since I first encountered it in 1990, and that’s okay.

It’s also clear that I’m no longer the target market for the franchise, given its shift in focus/direction, and that’s okay too.

Here’s hoping everyone who’s looking forward to this game will…
