Yeah, saying “I need to save money” and also “I need a new-to-me car” doesn’t make any sense to me.

Outside of being rich and just wanting the convenience there are certain instances a lease could be a good option. In general, I agree – if you’re on a tight budget the best option might be to pay cash outright or get a loan on the cheapest newest most reliable used car option you can tolerate. However, in some cases…
I’m a fan of buying cheap cars AND cheap houses. In both cases, it makes it easy when you gotta move on. Or you can rent them out and it doesn’t matter if the renter isn’t as meticulous as you are.
Quibble on, S2K lovers/haters and feminists/whatevers.
I had a red V6 SLE (weirdest car to own in red), even with the automatic it was plenty enjoyable and perfect for end of highschool phase shenanigans.
I had a Solara with the 200hp V6 and a 5 speed and it was a great car for late teenage to twenties. Was it meh? its my personal opinion that the best collage car is something stupid colored, huge, but deadly reliable and cheap. Something like a 1st gen Kia Sportage manual. in purple.
Here’s the full randomness...there was some logic to each purchaseover the years despite appearances...
I’m perpetually getting bored with my cars. Current car, Flex EcoBoost, was bought about 1.5 years ago, and I’m scouting new vehicles. Before that was a Ford Expedition, made it all of 8 months. The Crown Vic made it ALMOST 2 whole years. The Volvo C30, again almost 2 years. The Fusion, again almost 2 years. Well, you…
Forgot about these - the cockroach of the car world.
Shit. I live in Ohio. I want to buy the Previa.

Flat rate $499, I do new cars, used cars, leases, high-end stuff, specialty/performance cars...just not vintage stuff.
