This advice only works for people that aren’t tall like me (6'6") LOL

I’ll usually fly Southwest, unless I’m flying for business. Then it’s with Alaskan or United in a pinch.

When I first saw these, I thought “My Dad (RIP) would rock the hell out of these”.

But...I think that New Balance won’t be spending any sleepless nights worrying about these shoes taking over their market share. They got the Dad shoes market locked down.

UnderArmour always looked like something that would be in Payless shoes. All of it is garbage.

Asking the real question

I recall seeing BMW i3s for $249/month for 36 months up in Portland. Subsequently, I would see quite a few motoring around Rip City.

When I live in Portland last year, I noticed quite a few EVs.

LOVE your username

Looking forward to this, but I was still hoping for more of an 2+2 GT (baby NSX or new-school CL).

Yeah, not surprised that he pulled out...I was never happy that he was involved in the first place.

I’m a retired home remodeller, this is pretty spot on.

In addition to adding money to our savings accounts, I also use Acorns (highly recommend).

I think that we might do the reverse 52 week challenge as well (in addition to everything else).

I don’t know if I would be able to get a better rate on my wife’s loans, so we just make the monthly payment.

I totally missed out on this, but am game for February.

You and I have about the same taste in cars, thanks for the tips!

I miss living in Oregon (Portland metro area) for the same reason. I bought a 1996 Ford Aerostar XLT (RIP) and a 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD when we lived there (earlier) this year. Probably saved a few grand on taxes.

However, I don’t miss the 9.9% state income tax though.

Same here...plus I want my kids to work for awhile/learn a trade first before going to college.

Allen Edmonds and Guccis aren’t the same league, and I would venture to guess that most people wouldn’t have one of each.

Does it have to be new? Because I’m a new Dad as well (congrats on the kiddo, kids are the best) and we already have a new CR-V (would highly recommend).

I’m looking at the 996 myself...
