I always saw it as "the hero of another story."
I always saw it as "the hero of another story."
It is dumb nonsense made for the film.
Someone will; when all three are out, some enterprising soul will make a nice three hour movie from parts of this bloated trilogy. Then, and only then, will we have a decent adaptation of The Hobbit.
BUT I WON'T SAY WHY.
So I guess I'll file Christopher Nolan beside Doctor Who, GRRM and The Legend of Korra in my "things I won't talk to people on the internet about" list.
I'm with you, as I also have such books. I'm really excited to see this now, even more than before.
I'm glad I'm not the only one having these thoughts.
I'm wondering the same thing.
That's what I was thinking. Has HBO ever tried to do science fiction on this scale? It seems like they've done everything else (including a giant fantasy series) but never any sci-fi.

You're a monster. But quick, write a bibliography and you'll be OK!
On the second story, along one of the busiest pedestrian streets in town? You are impressively stealthy.
Well carry on acting as if your (incomplete) experience with the show is typical, then, despite extremely recent evidence to the contrary.
Haha, yeah. Figured if out after, but when you are actually 21 such a comment can initially be a little confusing.
Though how you would even know my age to begin with is another mystery.
This sounds a lot less like how the average person watched the show and more like your specific reaction to watching the show.
"A show can be about whatever it wants to be about, but if it chooses the wrong topic…"
For clarification's sake: Were you referring to me, or highwayofdespair?
"This place is like someone's memory of a town, and the memory's fading."
