It's funny how Breaking Bad has followed TV Tropes' Beard of Evil and Bald of Evil.

…usually. Blink was the first episode of Doctor Who I ever saw, but Tennant is not my Doctor.
Or Karen Gillan in Fires of Pompeii.
Come, we shall grieve together.
"I'm fed up with this wor-uld! I'm going to a new one!"
Most of the Doctor Who fanbase is so terrible that I only discuss the show here, on the AV Club. The response to a female Doctor would only be further validation.
It's like Tecumseh's forgotten the RTD years.
shudder
But Nighy's an art curator (or something)…unless he was a future Doctor in disguise.
I feel like I've been punched in the gut. I only understood what people meant by "my Doctor" when Matt stepped into the role. I've always known he'd leave eventually, but I was expecting one more season.
"Best" may be a little strong.
There are many things Europe does well.
Race relations is not one of them.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why a character, created in and enamored by/with Britain, would have to apologise for liking a British sport.
And now perjury.
It sounds like you'd also make him watch Enterprise too. Have you no sense of decency, sir?
Indeed, this is very good to hear.
Seriously, why does it feel like they'd rather not cover it? For a show that's as (deservedly) loved as The Wire, it's odd how it hasn't already been reviewed.
There is some really great non-Moffatt stuff. Dalek, The Impossible Planet (a personal favourite), Human Nature, and Gridlock's pretty good when it's not being completely obnoxious and heavyhanded with its anti-drug sentiments.
I look forward to a few years from now, when a new Doctor and showrunner are "fucking everything up!" and the Moffatt/Smith era is looked upon fondly.
A vicious, neverending cycle.
Spaced is covered, actually.http://www.avclub.com/tvclu…
Beat me to it, ApathyMonger.
Can Doctor Who Classic also cover the first three seasons of New Who? There's a bunch of episodes I'd like to see reasonable discussions on, and who doesn't want to relive Blink, Human Nature or Fear Her?
