If we're going to include anime in our suggestions, I'd like to put forth Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Man, that jury's gonna fall in love with you.

"I’d say Jessica Walter acquitted herself best of the original cast, at least in terms of getting right back into the character she’d played those many years ago."

However, Slattery is in the new season, and it premiered on the same day as this episode. In my book that's enough to declare it a reference.

Situations like that were rare enough in my childhood that I found them disconcerting.

Didn't she just tape a knife to the broom?

You're not alone, witless chum. As an avid fan of the books, I prefer A Song of Ice and Fire over Treme, but I prefer Treme over Game of Thrones.

Ugh. I curse you for painting that image in my head.

The crew of Serenity, preferably pre-movie.
Although it's too bad that the characters of Treme aren't more closely connected, 'cause that would be my second choice.

If I may also reuse this ranking system:

Argh, why do you keep subjecting people to this terrifying, scarring picture?

I didn't know he'd had it cut. It's weirding me out. Don't like it.

I never thought I'd 'like' a comment such as this.

@Lupin Addams
It will be a little strange, but since the core of that episode is Bruce Wayne, not Terry McGinnis, I think we'll be alright.

Based on what I've heard about the Sixth Doctor, that might actually be a good idea.

What does that even mean

World's Finest sounds great, but I hope he doesn't cover Return of the Joker yet, because it kind of implies that Batman Beyond won't be getting the TV Club Classic treatment.

Four remaining B:TAS movies? Mask of the Phantasm was already covered, which leaves Subzero and Mystery of the Batwoman. That's two, unless you're counting Return of the Joker, which you shouldn't. Are there others that I don't know about?
