I don’t know why we’re still doing this thing where we all pretend that a game that nobody outside of the developing studio has had any significant hands-on time with is anywhere close to be released to the public. That is simply not how things work. Ever.

Metroid absolutely would have been better as a third person action shooter than a first person shooter. This is my unwavering opinion.

The stick to X crowd are the absolutely bottom of the evolutionary ladder and should go free diving into the Mariana Trench for a family reunion.

The buyers remorse was immediate and very obvious.

Mine still seem to work, but all my Sony devices are jailbroken and not connected to any network. Scared the crap outta me though.

And people wonder why these games aren’t on consoles yet. They’re being developed until the hour of release and letting the players test them. Which, to be clear I’m not particularly upset about. That’s the freedom provided by steam and mobile.

I agree with #1 and that's about it. The rest of the list looks procedurally generated.

I admit I've been frustrated by FFXIV lately but honestly I was annoyed by this game the minute they told us "Now don't expect to see anything more from this game for 2 years." immediately after showing a trailer for it at E3. An exact repeat of FFXIII.

Don’t give them cover by accepting Covid as an excuse for once again announcing a game that doesn’t exist. Any number of unforseen circumstances could have delayed development and no one need apologize for it if unnecessary promises aren’t made to begin with. Enough is enough.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters have been my pleasant surprise this year. I’ve enjoyed the first five very much. 

It was a complete game though. Could revive Aerith and everything.

It’s absolutely going kaboom on lift-off.
