Their other score works for Fincher ("The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", "Gone Girl") are masterpieces too, imo.

That was Spin Magazine (like I said above, I still have the issue), not RS, but RS gave it a 4 star review or something like that, and I mentioned in the message above some other examples of good/great reviews for the album back in the day. ;-)

Like I said in a message above, the same guy wrote in Pitchfork an awful review for Tool's "Lateralus", nobody takes those reviews seriously. XD

It was the album of the year for Spin (I still have the issue with Trent in the cover) and iirc Rolling Stone also had a mostly positive review, and in Kerrang Uk it had a 5 stars review where it was compared to some of the best albums of all time, same thing in the spanish edition of Rocksound, and I remember many

I like NIN's lyrics. :-/ XD

That second album is just amazing, bought it just before "The Fragile" came out and they were not only 2 of my favorite albums of that year but also 2 of the best albums of the decade (a decade with a loooong list of fantastic albums).

"Title Of Record" is an awesome record, and "Take A Picture" is a great song.

Also:

Trent uploaded the dvd of the "Broken" movie to several torrent sites around the same time he uploaded the "Closure" dvds.

The SACD from the deluxe edition? That's a remastered version for the 10th anniversary.

They tried new arrangements for classic songs with Belew replicating with his guitar certain parts that had never been played with live guitar, but it seems that it didn't work and it didn't sound right, so he left the band in good terms (or that's what he said, he is open to come back for studio work with NIN

Lots of NIN's fans are still wondering what that "I've got my arms that flip flop flip flop flip…" line was about. XD

The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!

I always thought The Prodigy's "Breathe" video was very inspired by NIN's "Closer" video.

Some of the original instrumental tracks in "Still" were actually written for Mark Romanek's "One Hour Photo", but they were not used in the film.
