I always loved the ending, I really enjoyed how it tied into the first two games. That being said I do admit to being a bit disheartened by the fact that trailers showed stuff we never got to play, but I do like how even that ties into the narrative.

So where are we on the Bioshock Infinite appreciation curve? We started with the crazy overhype phase then moved through the this-game-is-terrible backlash phase. Are we still there or are we in the this-game-was-way-better-than-people-gave-it-cradit-for phase?
