Trump did not bounce tonight. The best analogy might be that he did not crash through the floor and continue falling. The floor stopped him. But he’s still a lump of shit and we need a bucket (and perhaps a hose) to scrape him up.

His compliment of her is literally one of the things you want to see in a president. I don’t think he realized how big a favor her did her at the end, while she smartly demured from directly complimenting him.
