Well it doesn't have to happen EXACTLY like it did with Sega. Maybe a better example would be Resident Evil on Gamecube/Wii and MGS on Gamecube/3DS.

OK, I'm all with everyone saying this is a blatant Smash clone. I wish it had been more original too and when it comes out we might find out that it is. I hope it turns out to be good but am cautious about it especially with how little originality I have seen so far.

I'm going to be going to Japan later this year. This app seems alright but my concern is that this and others like it have to have an internet connection. I doubt I'll always have free wifi and am not sure if I'll be able to get my phone working on 3G.

I don't understand how there are so many people that feel this way. Not about watching Hulu at your desk, that sucks. Why don't more people do what I do and hook a PC up to their TV? HDMI is pretty standard on everything, I got my PC for $350 about 3 years ago so it can't be more than $200 now and it is more than

A new system that doesn't allow used games and a strict DRM strategy will solve everything!

Wow, simmer down there fella. I think you are directing a lot of strangely placed anger my way. All I and the BBB are saying is that we were lied to about the ending.

I think you're missing something in the discussion. Bioware didn't lie about the quality of the game, they lied about the way the game functioned and, especially, how it ended. Here are a few quotes:

I agree with the idea that not all endings need complete closure and explanation (I love The Matrix, Battlestar, Lost etc.), however the possibilities in ME3 are almost all bad. The only ways that they are not bad are ways that neglect some bit of established canon from the series. This is one of the reasons that the

Massive plot holes, entirely new concepts being thrown in at the end, entire themes and subplots ignored entirely, character's acting against their type and much more. If you have the time check out this 40 minute video. If you can make a 40 minute video explaining the faults in a 5 minute sequence there is probably a

They owe us the product that they promised. Again, they objectively lied about the final product. When this is done a complaint is made. We are, unfortunately, forced to complain a bit louder because the media that we rely on is acting as though our complaints are illegitimate and the result of entitlement mentality.

We have the right to point out that they lied in their advertising for a product. We purchased the product based on those lies. Thus we have a legitimate complaint.

The inherent problem with the ending as it is isn't necessarily that it doesn't take your previous choices into account and alter accordingly (although this is a problem with it it isn't the biggest), the true problem is that it wipes out all the previous choices made.

This was my concern as well. I already don't take the time off that I am offered and the only thing that makes me feel better about it is that I will either be forced to use it or end up just getting paid for this time that I have accrued. If my employer wasn't forcing me to take it I probably would take vacation even

I have watched every ending to the game and almost none of his questions were answered in any of them. Maybe partial answers here and there but the overall idea still applies.

I feel like you are missing something here. The gameplay is normally sufficient for a game to be good. However Mass Effect was different. Many, if not most, of us played Mass Effect because the story, universe and characters were fascinating and we connected to them on an emotional level.

Mass Effect 2 Suicide Mission....end comment.

No you are not wrong for liking it (you could be but have never listed your reasoning so there is no way for me to know). I'm glad it worked for you. Sorry if I came off as condescending but considering you began by stating that I "missed the point" and then implied things about me that were totally untrue I'm gonna

How did it go over my head exactly when I laid out the specific reasons why what he was saying was factually wrong?

I only got about three paragraphs into that before the issues started piling up. As IndigoHawk points out the author quickly fails to see how all of his favorite parts of the story are wiped out by the ending that he is trying to praise.
