Get a Cayenne- 1st gen can be had (a decent one with V6) for $12,000. These are reliable, if maintained- good off road, great on. Everyone at the gym will think you hit the powerball.

Before VW started using 8 speed autos, they did have 2.7:1 low gear transfer cases. Though I’m not as familiar with the Amarok, I do know that here in the U.S., when the Touareg went to an 8 speed, they stopped offering the low gear transfer case, likely because they put an extra short 1st gear on the 8 speeds that

A, rare option for this vehicle.

VQ isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Exactly the opposite. When I was in my 20's I realized how awesome it would be to sell Mary Kay. Think about it, your job is to go to parties where you’re the ONLY guy, be charming, and tell women how beautiful they are. And if it works out, free pink Cadillac.

Don’t quit your day job to write comedy.

RIGHT?! You want everything open so bad, then you go fucking first. I’m giving it a month before I even consider stepping out. Even then, it’s a strong fucking maybe

Same seats as the air cooled 911s, same steering wheel as the 964, same interior materials/carpeting and that “old Porsche smell” that was lost when the 996 came along too

Uh ....Bad? The Q7 is woeful at just about everything. No low range, poor break-over, approach, and departure angles. At least it’s still got optional air suspension, but so do the A6 Allroad and the Cayenne.

The sad reality is that crossovers are where manufacturers are putting all their effort right now. If you want the best options, comfort, etc, that’s usually the route you have to take.

I would have been interested in a wagon version of the NMS, but yeah, the European one (with an actual wagon in production) would have been preferable.

meh, the VW crowd is like Jeep and/or Harley Davidson crowd respectively, they will spend butt loads of money on early 1980's Caddies, as in El Camino in Germany. 21 window sweet pickles vans are selling for over 100K in no running condition. Its a VW thing, most of us just don’t get it. I sort of miss my 2012 Passat

Bonus: There is a giant sit-on jackalope in this bar, just like the one on Dirty Sixth but with approximately 42.069% less sorority vomit.

Also, this weekend will be cold—well, for Texas—so do yourselves all a favor and pack a jacket.”

Asking for a friend... What if we show up and want to talk about something other than cars?

*Piano music plays*

I find it ironic that you are calling someone else an idiot but failed to use the right contraction for “you are” which is “you’re” and not “your.”

I have to admit, no amount of scandal can deter me from my love of another cheater, the Cayenne Diesel.

Seriously, I can still get almost any mechanical part for my (relatively) limited run S2. A few things aren’t available, especially interior parts, but German marques are pretty good about keeping part stocks up. They (BMW, MB, Porsche) also really love to keep their rare cars on the road, just look at their classic

Sure, it is more expensive but even the lowly 4S is hardly slower (4s vs 3.6s to 60). The RS6 will likely pull ahead at the top end, but I’m too lazy to look for figures. I priced one, it was about 125k MSRP with sane options(nice color leather, decent exterior color, sport chrono, ACC).
