Good. This was an act of civil disobedience, I believe Thompson was aware that there would be consequences. The felony counts are a bit extreme. I can’t call this a riot, one item was destroyed and the sheriff acts like a mob ran through the building smashing everything in sight.

Look, the fact that there are extremists on the left (there are extremists for practically everything, you know that right?) does not mean there were two equivalent sides at Charlottesville.

Alt-right isn’t a derogatory term though — it’s the name of a white nationalist group that wants to install a fascist government, as coined by Richard Spencer. Alt-left is a term made up by the alt-right to make reasonable movements like BLM look like they want to overthrow the government and kill all white people.

The alt-right is a white nationalist movement. It is dedicated to preserving white American culture. That is what the “alt” in alt-right signifies, and that is perhaps the most prominent and enthusiastic support base.

These groups simply don’t exist on the scale and organizational level as the Nazis. The boogeyman he makes them out to be simply _doesn’t _exist. I’m talking, of course, about Trump.
