Making money is actually really easy:

I know this comment thread is old, but I just discovered Komodo Edit, and I have to say it's very close to rivaling N++, and the fact that it runs on all 3 desktop platforms means that I can actually have the same interface across the board, which is awesome. There are still a couple things I will miss Dreamweaver

I used to work for DirecTV and when I left, they told me not to bother returning anything other than the receivers, so I actually still have an unopened 4-pack of DTV dishes from a couple years ago... along with a few spools of dual-coax, single coax, grounded single... you get the idea. I was a non-local worker

Wow... Apparently LH doesn't send me an e-mail when people reply to me anymore... Sorry about the delayed response.

I will now be waiting for the "hack together a free (and fast) satellite internet hookup from an old directv dish and spare parts" article.. Any takers?

@Whitson Gordon: I was hoping that it had a chrome plugin so I could have my accounts consistent across machines.. I would even possibly consider completely switching away from Pidgin if Imo would allow me to be logged into Yahoo & AIM accounts on multiple computers at the same time.

@GetOutOfBox: ..or a native version for Linux, at least. N++ runs decent in WINE, but the interface doesn't display properly and can be difficult to navigate because of the display issues.

I'd like to see something like that for my HP Officejet 8500 WiFi AIO device.. It would be excellent to scan directly to my company Google Docs account.. Does anyone know of a way to set something like that up?

@Robbzilla: Totally agree. I love the Evo, but I really like the Epic.. however, the Evo may be a better deal if this is the way things are.. I just really like the idea of a hardware keyboard. A lot of people seem to like SenseUI as a stock interface though.

@tgrantt: The comment was definitely funny... but your response pointing out the hilarity of it was what actually made me laugh. +1 to you!

I am 100% certain that I saw those exact same photos in a Lifehacker article sometime in the last year or two.. and I seem to remember the article having a very similar title as well as a lot of comments about chair wheels and sand... If I can find the old article I'll post a link.

@kohenkatz: Most bookshelves are wide enough that the brackets could be mounted to a stud. If that's the case, there would be no reason for concern.

I would really like to see a Debian repository for LibreOffice.. Ever since making the switch from Linux Mint 10 to LMDE (x64) my computers have operated much more efficiently (it appears that the Ubuntu core has a decent amount of bloat that was left behind when switching to the Debian variant of Linux Mint).
