@nicatronTg: That is not why they were starred at all.. They were starred by a hacked account that had extra power.

@jcwx86: If they have access to your DynDNS account, they don't need your IP address.. they can get it from the DynDNS admin area.

@Adam Pash: Thanks for the star! I will do my best to live up to the standard.

@adanpena: If the password is stored in your browser "master list" you can install Lastpass & tell it to import your passwords from the browser. After that, log in to your Lastpass "vault", find the site, click "edit", and check the "reveal password" box.

@Adam Pash: That's one of the main reasons I spend more time reading/replying in the comments than I do on the actual articles most times; even for the (rare) articles I have no interest in.

@SquareWheel: I know XP had the map network drive function, but I seem to remember that it didn't actually accept FTP as being a network location.

@watcher_b: Any e-mail address associated with your facebook account can be used to log in, regardless of whether or not it's visible to the public. This essentially means that even when you have an uber-secure password, the value of that password decreases with each e-mail address you associate with your account

@Adam Pash: I totally agree with @3dbomb. I can see no fault with the Lifehacker staff; you guys were not the ones who taunted the hackers & had easy to hack accounts (the instigators, however, should be fired).

@Aaron Martin: Even Read Write Web (which has been featured in a few LH articles) has made the transition to Disqus.

@Adam Pash: Does that mean I can have a star if I promise to be helpful? I've been trying to earn one for a while now.

@ridinislife: Try coming up with something unique that you've never used before. LastPass can generate something for you if you're not creative enough to come up with your own.

@lantic: I didn't realize that they had added the FTP capability in Vista. I tried it multiple times when I had XP, and it wouldn't work, so it must be Vista and newer ability.

@xxdesmus: That makes more sense..

@freelunch: Use a key: Slide the key through the center of the zip-tie & twist a couple times. The zip-tie will snap easily.

@gestuno: Stick a key through the center of the zip-tie and twist. After a couple turns, the thing will snap.

@xxdesmus: "Windows Beta"...? You've got Win8?

@SquareWheel: Which OS? I remember having to use a third-party app to map FTP as a network drive in XP, and I don't see any FTP options in Vista.

@Dalton63841: That's why it didn't work... you had the antennae pointed the wrong direction.

@ghost252010: She's real... but her account could be one of the hacked ones. Either way... Congrats! ..now I want a star!
