What was the price of water before the storm? If the locals had been responsible citizens they could have purchased water & other items in the lead up to the storm. They had days to lay in supplies.

They could have PURCHASED supplies to help them ride out the storm, they did have plenty of warning before it hit. Why can’t we expect some responsibility from these folks?

We are a nation of laws, the labor dept. has thousands of lawyers & investigators.

Life has few guarantees, Unions sell the lie that only they can protect your future. Most people have a handful of jobs in their lives.

My opinion is grounded in my understanding of history & societal evolution. I see the union movement has something that WAS needed at a time of unbridled & unscrupulous commercial growth. I no longer believe unions are needed to insure the safety of employees, our very large Labor Department with it’s volumes of laws…

But there are virtually no unions now, membership has cratered yet the labor laws still exist.

I think you missed my point, I am saying that you cannot tell the color of the person speaking, not that everyone in the UK sounds exactly the same.
