Mario is pretty much the only game I can think of that gets me this hyped up on the merits of just showing me clips of someone playing the game. There are very few games that I can think of where I can watch a series of 4 second long gameplay clips and REALLY want to play the game.

I was actually being sarcastic. I think what you were saying is ridiculous.

Seeing this video has convinced me that the controller's entirely viable and that valve isn't crazy. I probably wont use it for games that are very much controller driven, but those are mostly console style games anyway, so it's alright. I'm not entirely sure that this reaches keyboard and mouse levels of accuracy,

Personally I hate when rock songs use the phrase "yeah" as filler. Or when pop songs say baby. I mean, lack of originality much?

Yep, he's bakin'

Sorry if you've already been yelled at a bunch, but I saw the debut trailer for this a while back and they actually do refer to him as a hipster. I think the term is thrown around too much, but in this case he really is supposed to be one of those types of people that just does something because it's cool. (a poser

Old timey toronto was boring though. Apparently it was mostly corruption free as well ("toronto the good") so I dunno if it'd be so fun to set a game in

Montreal actually seems like a reasonably logical choice. Consider that the recognizable parts of Montreal are designed in a more European fashion, making them more interesting to navigate (on foot and in general). At the same time it's very much a part of the new world, so historically they can keep the timeframe.

Every part of me screams "this is a bad idea!" but for some reason I can't bring myself to be anything but really interested in how this'll play out. If anything it only makes me a whole lot more interested than I already was.

On those issues there is no discussion to be had because they are all ingrained into our morals that have been taught to us for more than 2000 years. No one questions them because we are all very much conditioned not to do them, or to expect consequences if we do. The thing about bigotry is that it's a more subtle

Again though, the guy wasn't making intentionally malicious remarks. They weren't in the right, but he didn't know that. In that case, I'm not trying to defend anyone. I'm moreso just trying to talk some sense into the rabid internet hate mob that believes that they're actually fighting for something, but in reality

I wrote a big long thing on this for another response, so I'll leave that to cover the extent of how I feel, but to sum it up the fact that there isn't necessarily a valid counterpoint doesn't mean that there can't be discussion. Y'know, listening. Understanding. Those things that make marginalized groups become more

Look, as long as this is an issue in society, there's a need to talk about it. I never said that people should just get over it, nor did he. The issue here is that there could be discussion as to what's wrong and what could be done. Instead people are just mindlessly screaming "THIS COMEDIAN IS THE WORST PERSON EVER".

So pretty much everyone has proven your point to be spot on.

this game seems to be getting trashed by kotaku commenters, but I don't think it looks so bad. I'm not a huge fan of the art style, but there's a whole lot more to the game. Plus the art style makes sense in contributing to the overall style of the game. Also I'm just relieved that it's not yet another indie game with

Wait, we agreed that this ending was excellent? I mean, it was dramatic. I think it was a bit cheap, but I guess it worked. Personally I thought the ending was pretty bad, as did everyone else I talked to about the game. I mean, I'm not going to dispute people who did like the ending, I just honestly thought that it

I played this through and there were clever bits. I found the most clever bits to be the parts that didn't include the actual isometric camera gimmick. The tone feels a bit annoying, and pretentious (and I do mean the real definition of pretentious). At times I enjoyed it, though more often than not it seemed tedious.

Question: Why are so many people obsessed with the notion of professionalism above everything else? I'd prefer to stand up for myself even if it ends up eventually being a bit unprofessional. I don't understand why there are people online who will argue till death that every aspect of everything has to be professional

This game is pretty cool, though the ability to jump kind of ruins it on a mechanical level. The gimmick here is that time only moves when you move, which would means in order to dodge bullets, you must be moving as well. The thing becomes a puzzle about dodging bullets without moving into other bullets. That's cool.

The Chamber of Secrets game was kind of like that. It's the only Harry Potter game that I've ever enjoyed, but man, did I enjoy that game. It's not quite the freedom of a persona style game but the structure is very similar to the 3d Zeldas where there is a whole lot to do just around the school. You can go places and
