Just pay your service workers a living wage. Hell, my daughter - age 19 - works as a hostess at a nice restaurant in Vancouver. She makes $20/hr and gets a small cut of the tip-out. Yes, Vancouver is exceedingly expensive to live in. But she and her roommate make it work. Decent wages make a difference.

Sure seems like there are a number of people who have been fortunate enough to have their decisions go their way for long enough that it’s basically impossible for them to admit that they even have the capacity for making an incorrect call.
