Seems like he was overcompensating for the gear change. If you look at about 0:20-0:22, he shifts up and preemptively counter steers to the right. He probably didn’t expect to have that much front-end grip and it pulled him around.

Agreed. There is a lot of lame liveries in F1 right now, with so much missed opportunities.
