Mine is where I’m on a boat, and they just pop up out of the water, flop into the boat, and start chasing me, and then they somehow wind up in my house. I’ve remembered that dream since I was a teenager. 

This one fucked me up so much! It genuinely terrified me and I’m still not ok with it today. My cousin and I tried to summon it because we were stupid kids. I didn’t sleep at all that weekend. 

They’re in the Rappahannock now, too. I don’t fish, but these things scare me. I actually had a nightmare about them years ago when they first started showing up in the Potomac. One of the scariest dreams I’ve ever had. Kill them all.

I know other people who have seen Civil War soldiers in their backyards. My favorite restaurant downtown is supposedly haunted, too. I had a guy in a coffee shop tell me he was held down in bed by something in a house on Faquier Street. Everything is haunted here, basically. 

I don’t have regular tv and only stream. That explains why I wouldn’t have seen it. I’ve had a couple people text me today with links to stories and asking why they’d never heard of him.
