I let him tear up my leg kneading me yesterday because he was being so sweet.

His name is Bowie and he’s THE C H O N K. His favorite toy is any random straw he can find. He’s the best cuddler and his belly is so fuzzy that he can get away with anything. Literally anything. All he has to do is roll over and show it to me and I stop everything and must rub it. He knocked my can of La Croix off…

He’s my first pet I’ve ever had on my own and I love him so much it hurts. He’s my big boy. He’s well over 20 pounds and he lets me rub his belly

I better enjoy the snuggles now. He’s got a vet appointment on Monday and he won’t let me forget that I brought him there. 

I hope that happens. I really do.

My mom was in the hospital this week for her second bowel obstruction in less than a year. She’s not even 60. Luckily , this one didn’t require emergency surgery. My mom and I have our issues but I feel like I’m the only one she really has. I’ve been a mess all week but she came home on Thursday.

I wish that would work or make them reconsider. They’re so far in the evangelical world (the school they send the kids to scares me) that it wouldn’t do any good. All I can do is hope these kids learn to think outside of the bubble surrounding them. 

She’d have told me I was lying. 🙄 

My little cousin, who I nannied, was at the March For Life. I’m heartbroken.

So, this isn’t the cute one who is entirely too young for me but I have a thing for, right? (Luke Hemmings, call me).

I switched my Hulu account to commercial free when Golden Girls became available for streaming. 

I was disappointed that the cup sizes didn’t go high enough for me. 

Betty White has the same birthday as one of my dearest friends. ❤️

I’m very lucky to be one of the few federal employees who is not furloughed due to the shutdown. My department’s budget was passed in November and we are exempt.
