Me, too. I find I’m a better all-around performer when I don’t have sex with Kate Upton.

I agree with you down the line, and I’d just like to add that in the comments section of the other post you’re referring to, I saw several people take the line “But if you denounce this then you have to denounce South Park and Family Guy too but no one could ever not like those shows so therefore this is fine.”
He went up against 3 big You-tubers and called them out for Anti immigration laws.
Yeah, terrible people sometimes do nice things. I heard Pol Pot once gave a kid a lollipop. All’s forgiven.
Oh, I completely understand that some people find it funny. Stormfront, for one, was probably rolling in the aisles.
It’s a personal favorite of mine. I had the good fortune to work in London almost fifteen years ago, and some of the slang stuck with me.
I’m also particularly fond of “cockwomble.”
I don’t think it’s fair to hold his previous comments against him, because people do grow, change, and mature over time.
...however, this most recent kerfuffle demonstrates that PewDiePie has not done quite as much growing, changing, or maturing as he claims, so knowing what he’s claimed in the past does provide…
Very well said. Plus, you get a star for teaching me the word “whinge.” I had to look that one up.
Damn, that’s a solid, well spoken response. Well done.
If it were a question of “one error,” I doubt he’d be facing the blowback he’s currently receiving; he’s made anti-Semitic remarks on multiple occasions--the video referenced in this and the previous article just happens to be the most recent (and most talked about at the moment).
It’s perfectly possible to be…
Yup. It’s basically equivalent to the infamous “bum fights” from years back (at least I hope it’s done and gone forever).
And don’t forget that free speech doesn’t cover while you are working. He was working, his videos are his work, when he made these statements. Any employer would fire an employee for saying “Kill All Jews” at work.
I get the “joke”. I get that the backlash to the joke was totally deserved. I just dont get how some people can’t believe that some people might find the joke funny.
God damn, this is one of the best written responses I’ve read. Well done.
So a dude with more money than most people see in their lives chose to take advantage of economically-disadvantaged individuals for the sake of some anti-Semitic “humor,” and is now surprised that there are consequences that go with that kind of behavior.
There seemed to be an awful lot of equivocation and hand-waving excuse-making going on in the comments on the previous article.
I get not wanting to think one of your favorite personalities/entertainers/what have you might actually be a shitbag (or, if not an actual shitbag, the sort of dingus who has such poor…
I find the defence of the two Indians as “just a joke” that some are doing really revealing.

Got it.
Having read some of the comments on the previous article…
I read that Trump complained about Spicer’s suits. TRUMP, of all people, had opinions about another man’s suits. They are supposed to be adult men, why can’t they dress as such? Obama always had such gorgeous suits, Trump looks like a toddler in his older brother’s suit and Spicer looks like he won his suit at a…
Plus the costume was perfect with that ill-fitting suit, tie, collar. It would be hard to top tonight’s performance.
