I don’t know if it’s the voice acting that is to blame in this, I thought the actual voice acting was fine. Lip syncing & SCRIPT seem to be more likely culprits to me.

I didn’t even know there were more acts to come. I played the last act finishing it as clueless as I went in... WTF did I just play? And I was like.. “Hrmm.. that is some weird existential shit and I have no idea what I am doing, I guess this is the end of the game!” Now there is more weird existential shit to play

So... they still haven’t hired someone to take care of those terrible animations... I will still play the heck outta it, because the story I am sure will be great, but they must be making enough money by now for someone to at least fix the mouth sync! Jeebus!

Ohhh hoo hoo I heard some Aghdashloo!

Ok so you never tried it. Well then, go try one on, and then come back and apologize to everyone for being so close-minded.

I highly recommend the series DARK HORIZON, great satirical take on the Japanese New Horizon text books. With loads more dirty words than any Making out in Japanese book you will ever find. Comedy gold!

Now playing

You are totally missing out on the double jumps! And there are some other great stages that really show off windlands. Here is the speedrun that uses no ropes and lots of double jumping. This is an old video though, my current time is 136.

I have to disagree. I think not reviewing this game in VR is ignoring one of the most fundamentally important things about VR, which is presence. That’s why VR games (or experiences) like “STACKS” which is literally just standing blocks and turning the physics off are so mesmerizing and fun. I’m just going on my own

Because I am not a journalist and the whole point of reading a review is to see if I want to drop money and buy the game.

Says the guy who hasn’t played it in VR. I think you should review the game again in VR and update this review if you have or have not experienced a different perspective on the game. I think that’s a fair request. Especially considering I do own a VR headset and am interested in the amount of presence this game DOES

Umm... can you point me to these “Projectile vomiting” VR players? I haven’t seen or heard anything about people throwing up while wearing the Oculus rift. Sure, people can get sick, and I felt queasy the first few hours I had it on, but I’ve watched tons of videos online and follow the rift developments borderline

For some reason WINDLANDS is getting shunned left and right, and it’s one of the FIRST games that came out for the Oculus rift that showed it’s potential. It’s currently on Steam greenlight and they update it every few weeks with new content. It’s amazing, and it’s probably the only vr game that actually feels

That logo is sick as fuck!!!

Look at that texture and color pop! BLLAAADDAAOOWW!

I’m not so sure he drew all these. Many times backgrounds are just photos rasterized in black and white and touched up where needed. These seem to be those meaning he didn’t “draw” them. I’m not dockin him as I have read all the manga for I am a hero and I love it and I think the style works great here. But he didn’t

This site says someone actually died in the fire along with the injuries of the others involved.

You missed AirBNB which is gettign more and more popular in Japan and plenty of places to stay in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyushu, etc etc...

The best Japanese textbook was Dark Horizon...err no that’s the naughty version of the English New Horizon textbooks...That was a fun nightmare to teach.

We also had DMM ice cream last summer :) lol

It is! I work there!
