That headline sure feels victim blaming. I don’t suggest Ashley wrote the headline.

I’m just up north from you and feel a fool for not knowing this exists! Can I blame my parents for my ignorance? I also do ketchup and mustard on hotdogs. :D

I’ve never heard of dill relish. I don’t think it’s a thing. You definitely have to chop the dill pickles yourself if you want to add them to stuff. :)

I read Gatsby first in 8th grade and adored it. I’m sure I’ve gotten more out of it since then, but I fell in love at a young age.

I suspect...and this might be a wild idea...that some kids love classics. And some kids love physics. And some kids love wall ball, or whatever they do in gym these days. Not all students

Help me out:

Is the thesis of this essay “People who complain about  my job on twitter are stupid” ?

I found the shift came when I realized I love story, not object. Sure, books-the-object are cool. Special. Pretty great. But I like story more. So if I can download a library book from my bed at 11 at night and enjoy a story, this is a pretty great thing. :D

I joined up with my girls for actual scouting. The broad swath of interests diluted the actual outdoorsiness. Our materials, I have no idea what you would call them, sorry. Curriculum? Age based books that leaders had to teach from? Materials seems like a good word for all of that to me. Those “things” focused heavily

This is the risk when you go all out and use hyperbolic language. I’ve said the organization is trash (which I kinda believe) and others have shared that actually, just our local group must have been since their experience is different.

I’ll throw out that different folks like different things as well, so there’s

having been a Girl Scout mom for a couple of miserable years all I can say is the organization is pretty trash. There is no scouting. No outdoorsyness. Just a LOOOOT of work selling cookies of which the girls get very little money. Pretty lame.

That looks like heaven. Perfect way to celebrate!

Lady Gaga was outstanding! She sang a notoriously difficult song in her own range, and in an operatic style (sorry if my ignorance is using the wrong word) and it’s rarely sounded better. Knowing Joan hated Katy, I’ll probably quite like it.

Relationship Manager, wasn’t she? And she did just fine, thank you. ;D

Note: She also spent a season or two relationship managing for Doc Martin so I think she’s got this!

Came here to say this! Steve Carrell’s hair looks great. And....to be honest...if women can get extensions without it being a sign of their insecurity, why can’t men get plugs? I would (age related hair thinning) but women’s hair thins differently than mens so there aren’t really any spare follicles to plug in. I’m

I’m with you on this one. Lovely warm homey kitchen. Maybe as one commenter said, it is a rental. But it’s still the rental she decided she’d be comfy in. Or the space she thought would be nice to do an interview in. Anyway. I’m a sucker for vaulted ceilings, warm wood tones, and cozy spaces.

agree wholeheartedly.

frigging genius. But it will probably improve his sales so...

I’m probably joining everyone else here but solitary confinement is truly cruel and unusual punishment for this crime. Get that man out of there. Also, the others, too. If he’s in solitary for the virus, he can’t be the only one.

We’ve had plenty of those conversations without giving money to the apologists.

a nightmare, truly.

Fun fact I just double checked: Olivia’s divorce from her Vatican Prince came “suspiciously” close to her beginning her relationship with Jason Sudeikis. So close that I remember it being talked about exactly like this Harry thing is.

This leads me to think two potential things:

1. She might be the kind of woman who
