And do we need to call women who sleep with more than one man whore and sluts too? I mean at least here, that is feminism 101, but even some feminist are willing to participate in this hate speech/misogyny.

First off, given this guy’s website, my first response is to roll my eyes and shrug, muttering, “well, what do you expect.”

My understanding of the current lexicon is that the definition of that word has expanded to include any behaviors that men find unacceptable in women. Push for a promotion: whore! Have sex freely with men, with no other gifts, cash, or considerations exchanged: whore!

I’m pretty sure Erickson’s definition is a bit broader. Presumably it includes all non-virginal and non-married women. Probably also a quite a few of those categories as well.

I admit my experience with sex workers is limited to the ones I see standing on the street, and the message parlor people who seem trapped/tricked/pressured into it on the evening news after a raid, but I think they generally don’t dress up like a sexy cat, or super heroes.

I gotta be honest. I’m burnt out on Halloween because as an adult it seems to have mostly turned into mostly trying to ignore or respond to racist and sexist shit.
