I own 1999 volvo 940 hearse with turbo engine. It’s fun to drive.

I’d categorize RWD volvos (240/740/940) with 4 cylinder engines between durable and abusable.
I’m sure there are people who agree.

Having longitudinal engine and FWD is like something out of Saab factory. Here’s the model 99.

Haven’t you seen any movies? All car accidents small or big end with huge explosions! He’d ded if no horn for sure!

Florida just needs some rainlights, plenty of colors not used in car lights so just pick one up and slap some extra rainlights to the cars.

Laughs in ‘95 volvo 940

I think 370Z will be great gearbox (maybe engine) donor car for enthusiasts.

No you look them at the wrong angle, how cool would they be if same cars had more cylinders. Kia Stinger with V10 or Audi TT inline 8?
There is only 1 reason for putting 4 cylinders into an engine and that is to save cost on smaller block, smaller crank, cams and less parts etc.

Moisture in air can freeze in the parts of the pneumatic system and its not uncommon in cold climates. To the extent any system can fail but true, air brakes are reliable and part of this is they have been used 100 or so years and being developped since.
You don’t hear often regular cars hydraulic brakes failed

Wouln’t be suprised if electric trucks in the future have electrically driven disc brakes but there is a law that states trucks have to make thet whoosh sound while braking because people are used to hearing and if trucks don’t make that sound it causes accidents.

“older car” being 4...5 years old. Meanwhile my newest car is 16 years old but I daily drive 26 year old volvo.

Reminds me of volvo TP21

In 1973 Nissan had LZ14 engine 1.6L naturally aspirated that produced 200 hp, granted it produced it at 9,400rpm and it didn’t have to apply to any emissions standard, because it was competition engine. In the end of 70's Nissan bored the engine to 2L and slapped turbo on and this engine had output of 570hp.

you can do anything

Volvo

For 900€ I bought brand-spanking new 1995 volvo 940 estate. $700 a month, no thanks.

True, but in the mid 90's Volvo still made RWD cars. 940, 960 & S90 V90 up to 1997.

All the doors can be lifted from hinges without any tools except the lower half of rear hatch. Also the windshield can be opened up 90 degrees.

No parking meter or lamp post has a rating of 7kW additional power so you need to do new wiring anyways.
