Uh, the Guilty Gear team always said their games were supposed to be in different grenes. Which is why Guilty Gear 2 is such a different direction in the series. But people forget that and got mad that Guilty Gear 2 wasn’t another fighter. So now they’re stuck making more fighting games. 

I think there is some place for AI writing , for big open world games like Skyrim or The Witcher etc , where you can use it to create infinite amounts of side quests or NPC chat. Theres still a good way to go though before its fully viable though , as it needs to be a step up for standard ‘dynaimcally generated’…

TF2 was also a PvP game and it has a PvE mode. People were kind of expecting something like that with the Blizzard magic.
