@twDarkflame: I consider myself to be a power-user. I'm about 12h/month talking to my phone according to my phone-bills, use +- 400mb 3G data (virtually only email, google maps and web browsing), not counting the time I'm on WiFi. It all depends on how you define "power user" when considering mobile phones.

@bdinger: "With the iPhone you are STUCK on AT&T - no choice"

I don't agree with the "Integration with Google Apps" at all. You have a google for domains account? Sorry - you're out if you have Android.

Having an iPhone 3G, and having tried Android 1.5, 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2 - I have to say, Android has heavily improved, but it never made me feel it was overall "better" than my iPhone experience.

@Shiryu: Most games aren't the full 4.2Gb, Wii sports for example is a bit more than 500mb for example, and it's not the only-one.

As a European citizen, the whole "healthcare" reform in the USA is a bit unreal. The whole thing sounds so complicated and inefficient. I guess that now, it's better than before, but still sounds strange.

Chrome. Never liked FF, used Opera before. Now it's hard to go back...

1) Absolutely. Some kind of iTunes server would be super-nice.

$160 for that entire MSR set pretty cheap imho. Already have quite a few MSR things, and I love them. Yes they come with a price tag, but they're more than worth it.

That Crystal looks like a nice tech-demo, but is something I would NEVER want in my living-room. First of all - it emits light, not too practical if you want to watch a movie. I prefer a Logitech harmony remote for 'universal' control...

sed, awk and grep are your friends.

I basically have mostly smart-playlists that I sync with my iPhone, which all obey to the rule that tracks with 1 or 2 stars are not included. I also limit each playlist by size ( in MB/GB ) so I can manage the used space on my 16Gb iPhone in the most optimal way.

I just access gmail from my iPhone, web and mailclient - depending on the situation. Use the desktop mailclient the least I guess, mostly read email on iPhone, sending will be 50/50 iPhone/web...

I used to use Virtualbox at work, but the drivers in windows are of miserable quality and compromise the stability of the host windows OS simply too much. Also - Virtualbox's stability isn't exactly great... Completely wwitched to VMWare workstation - ok, not free - but it's reliable and didn't lose days to fix things

Used to be a huge Opera fan, but Chrome and Safari are simply snappier... Never understood why so many people think Firefox is that great, except for the extension mess.

Mercedes has a simular system as an option with the standard keys. It also lets you start the car by pushing a button if it detects the keys near the driver's seat...

mp3tag all the way. I tried a lot of different tools (including most of the ones mentioned here) - and it's simply the best no-nonsense too which does exactly what it has to do.

Oh my - that first picture is my very first PC :P Huge-ass 'portable' IBM which had ISA expansion slots and a built-in brown CRT screen - where are the times... Had the memory maxed out to a staggering 640k! :D
