I saw that once, mildly grossed out but captivated by my curiosity

Someone needs to combine the Viper cockpit those crazy kids made and this and holy shit will people be barfing and having oh so much fun

Well it is public speaking so not everyone can or wants to do it. Plus add in the fact that he is well known (Fuck even when he goes to talk to congress below his name is 'The Science Guy') and he gets paid pretty good for a couple hours of work (of course there is time devoted to research and prepping but still

at 25 dollars a pop and at 900 seats available you get $22,500. Subtract 50,000 or 70,000 (Bill Nye's speaking fee which AnswersinGenesis paid for) and subtract a couple other fees that Ken Ham's camp covered and lets say on both the internet and the seats went into paying Bill Nye and then they had to cover the rest.

Agreed, he started off shaky and went on one too many asides but he leveled out and was able to provide fresh content through out the entire debate where Ken Ham devolved into a broken record

A few of the reasons

That wasn't his worst argument. His worst was in one breath talk about how we can't prove evolution because we weren't there millions of years ago but turns around talks about the Bible. We weren't there when Jesus was alive so we don't know what he said or if he existed cause his part of the bible was written about

I mean good on you wanting to change and all but I think people have been burned by that tag line that we will believe it when we see it.

Here is the outcome as I saw it.
Bill Nye started off shaky (in terms of debating skills not actual content) but really strengthened as he went on, and had content for the entire thing.

I'd add a movie and MAYBE a photo feature and then you can really make the Steam Box something good for a Home Theater PC

More Data? the fall of the Soviet Union let us see a lot more went on during it

You know I found that to be a really cool ad, something to show the diversity of America but in the back of my head I was thinking about how much bitching was going to ensue

I haven't read it (yet) but I found out about Ringworld because of Halo.

The only reason I used Halo is because A. I like Halo B. It is a contemporary rendition of the ring world idea C. It is something people can identify with who didn't grow up with books about ringworlds.
Look I get it that you probably were exposed to ringworlds before you played Halo but because I compared the concept

...well fuck. I have played all 3 mass effects but I never really recognized that it was a giant wheel. I knew it curved upwards but I always figured it was the beginning of one of the arms.

The Presidium works in terms of architecture but it looks like it is curving upwards which makes me think Halo (Which in reality would work best because you spin it like a wheel and cause an artificial gravity

So..... a Halo without the universe kill switch?

it might simply be a matter of we need to get something out before people leave. I would hope they use this map for the Alpha and make a new place for the Beta/Release

I think that they really want to sweeten the pot to entice players to come over to the One so instead of one updated game why not 3

I may not be as skeptical about Halo 3/4 because most likely it is all going to be on a One version of a Halo 4 engine and really once the engine is done and some of the assets will be reused across all of them it is really just the story being ported.
