And he’s told me it feels strange to meet up alone with friends (who are girls) when they’re in town. It’s just more enjoyable…

Real talk - I think it should end with a focus on Hannah’s mom and Marnie’s mom becoming friends, as like examples of female relationships throughout time.

They fit the mold of the “future” young women like Hannah/Marnie who may be pushed apart by life, but find each other again.

1. You did in fact make the claim that if death is the root of fear, then people with anxiety wouldn’t kill themselves. This is simply unrelated to the topic at hand because depression that is exacerbated BY anxiety is a whole different beast. Not saying it isn’t important - but just irrelevant.
