Back in my day, everyone thought he was female thanks to an inaccurate dub. But knowing that he was always supposed to be male, I totally agree that turning him into a female actually feel like a disservice to his character. He’s a male hero with feminine traits in a shonen anime, which in itself already broke the

The major issue is in many ways in the name of inclusion they change the one character who was already inclusive. So instead of having a sensitive and multifaceted male character who breaks expectations (that still exists in this genre) we’re now going to have a pointless controversy with none of what made that

I don’t know about you but when they start to divide up the surface of the planet I’ll go with the United People’s Commonwealth of Disneyia. At least we’ll get to see all the Marvel movies before we are rounded up and slowly rendered for our base elements.

All it does is make sure games, which are now being shopped as a “service” never face visible backlash for anti-consumer decisions.

That right there is Jesus using his Jesus-powers for Drew.

*Flash forward 15 years and they each own one half of the planet*

People are mad because they’ve grown accustom to having their PC games primarily through a single service.

I don’t think making good games is a valid prerequisite for being an effective storefront.

My reaction was exhaustion as well.

I mean, good for them. I’m not going to end up playing their games as a result, but good for them. I already have Steam, Uplay, Battlenet, Bethesda.net, Origin, Microsoft Store, PSN, Microsoft, and Switch store front accounts to deal with, and I really, really feel like having my games in 9 different places is enough.

You gotta be a pretty big fanboy/girl of something to think reporting on big news is biased and forget how ads work.

... but I really want neither Tencent nor Disney to profit from my game purchases.

Or it’s the fact Epic launching their own service and games pulling out of Steam is big news, and this is a games site whose job is to review and preview games...

I think the real questions we’re all waiting to be answered is: “will there be sex games, will they be plentiful, and will they be uncensored?” /s

In fairness, if “the intended experience” requires the purchase of an optional LAN adapter, that’s kind of a cop-out. The idea that a game that came out at full retail ($60 USD) and is ostensibly the “full experience” would also require a LAN adapter that most people probably don’t realize exists (not to mention a

The reason they don’t let you switch characters between matches is because you have separate rankings per character which matchmaking supposedly takes into effect...except it clearly doesn’t because it just throws random people into random matches together.

I agree with most of these issues, but I just want to reiterate - in a game with 74 characters, I can’t change my character between online matches without dropping out of the queue. Which is extra strange, because I’m pretty sure I could swap out between matches in Smash 4? The lag and the issues with finding matches

I’ve seen a lot of varied suggestions, not to mention the huge clamor for “BRING BACK FOR FUN/FOR GLORY,” but easily one of the best and easiest to implement ideas I’ve heard is also the simplest:

Nah, there’s no “being in the moment”, it’s not about taking a video game too seriously or having fucked up priorities. He’s just a fucking scumbag. Unfortunately piece of shit men who act like this will go off over any number of things, and sadly he’s probably done that before for completely different reasons. It

If ever the choice between quitting out of your game and striking your partner crosses your mind, log the fuck off and never play that game again.

I completely understand being in the moment in a game—being so immersed and inmeshed that having that concentration broken feels like a bucket of cold water.

It’s not an
