Or they can do like they used to and sell shit individually so you can buy what you want instead of having to throw it up to random chance.

It’s a rough comparison to make imo. With CCGs you buy the deck, booster pack, or whatever, and end up with real physical objects. Maybe you got the one(s) you wanted, maybe not, but you could take those and trade or resell them if desired. If you really wanted one specific card you could hunt it down and buy it…
Maybe they should? I mean, you dangle that question out there like it’s a killshot but maybe it’s a conversation worth having especially in regards to the difference between digital and hard products.
“That little dopamine rush...”
Just fucking raise the price to $80 already for new games and stop dancing around it with all this bullshit.
Publishers only have themselves to blame here. They kept pushing it, seeing how far they could take it. Now, hopefully, the FTC sets up boundaries to protect consumers from shady business practices (which loot boxes definitely are).
I actually love Overwatch lootboxes. That little dopamine rush when I wonder what could be popping out next. There’s the coin system to gun for specific stuff, and sometimes I’ll get a skin for a hero I don’t play much and want to try it out.
But the mere fact that you can buy lootboxes with real money is...awful. That…
It’s honestly starting to feel like a conscious effort to do the wrong thing
This motherfucker really dislikes cell phones!
Skins fan here. I don’t know how I am still alive.
They just refuse to ever do the right thing as an organization and it all starts at the top.
F#ck Snyder. F#ck everything about this team.
Wow - sorry Cowboys and Bengals - you snooze, you lose!
(whispering to you) The stuff in the posts Elije makes above? That IS evidence.
I had the same thought. If Dwight actually came out because of this and then said something about how difficult it has been for him, I’d instantly reframe all of his past behavior and start rooting for him.
On a sadder note, what if this whole story is true and he’s actually gotten a reputation for being a horrible teammate just because people didn’t approve of his sexuality? That’d be extremely shitty.
Seems unfair to list him as questionable, too, imo.
I would say I’m surprised Dwight has stayed silent and not tried to refute these claims, but he’s always been hesitant to defend and rebound in big moments.
Go to the menu and press X. You should really RTFM
