The F-Zero situation is even weirder. Like they KNOW people care about the characters, they’ve seen the Captain Falcon memes over the years, and they are absolutely willing to mine the franchise for money(see F-Zero tracks in Mario Kart 8), and yet....no new F-Zero game.

Yeah Metroid is on the same tier as Star Fox for Nintendo. They’ll release a new game every now and then, and predictably, the game usually sells like ass, even if the game is really good, and thus back onto the shelf the series goes.

Well, there will be. They haven’t announced it yet, but well this is arguably their main series now.

Oh it definitely will get the Switch attention, especially in the West as we didn’t get XX for 3DS. But Monster Hunter 5 will get it more attention.

Hopefully the show doesn’t suffer the same fate as Shirobako. Shirobako was also similarly fanservice-free(for the most part, there’s only like 2-3 things even remotely in the ballpark of fanservice) in the show itself. But the merchandise.....oh God the merchandise.....

Cecilia, sometimes I feel like you focus too much on fanservice as a detriment to shows. Can fanservice be a detriment to shows? Oh absolutely, but not all the time.

I am forever glad that I can say I got to see Nakamura wrestle in person. It was last year as part of NXT’s live event touring, and it was in the main event, which was a tag match of Nakamura & Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe & Tye Dillinger. Nakamura and Balor won of course, but nevertheless, watching Nakamura in action was…
