This whole PewDiePie thing reminded me of a rather classic George Carlin bit:
They probably should be more Vita-box sized really.
The big bonus of Nendoroids(and their slightly bigger cousins Figma), is that all of the parts can be swapped out. So say you get this Tracer one and the one for Saitama from One Punch Man. You could simply swap their heads and have Tracer wearing Saitama’s costume or Saitama wearing Tracer’s(and suddenly gaining…
Well not always. My local GameStop has the Legend of Zelda Nendos and they are like $36. Granted usually with Nendos it is always better to pre-order because that is 99.9% when they are cheapest.
The Osomatsu voters had to be taking the piss. If there were any legit votes for it.....yeesh.
Why would they release 6 when they can just keep milking us for costumes(usually for the women on the roster)?
Yeah I’ll still see it if only for the visuals. There is a theatre here that does $4.50 matinee showings(with pretty damn wide matinee hours), so I’ll see this for pretty damn cheap. I probably won’t like it though. :P
Yeah still not feeling this. :|
Nope, it was basically everyone I saw play the game. I actually loved the game flaws and all. Every single person I tried to get to play it, including oddly enough people who liked Bushido Blade, disliked the game because of the one hit KOs. I didn’t let the irony escape the BB fans I showed the game to. :P
People didn’t perceive it to be in their control. The fact that the match could end at any point rubbed them the wrong way. I saw waaaay too many people react upon dying on a first blow, “Wait you can die in one hit?! That’s bullshit!!!” or some variant of that.
Exactly. But people just didn’t like having something out of their control. I thought it was fun though.
I am interested, however last game I remember using combat like this, the Deadliest Warrior games, weren’t well received, with this style of combat, i.e. the whole can be killed in one blow thing, being one of the main issues people had with the game.
Yeah. Outside of LEGOs the best attempt I’ve seen anyone give when it came to giving their toys to life figures purpose is Nintendo with the Amiibo and that’s because they at least let them have some sort of function in games beyond what they were designed for.
That sounds about as best as you can expect from the big companies in gaming, sadly. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a fully glowing experience from anyone who worked at a major gaming company.
True enough. But it is probably better this way. If there was ever any smart move Activision has made it is letting Blizzard just keep being Blizzard with little messing around on Activision’s part.
What Activision themselves, as in the Activision side of Activision Blizzard, have left, I dunno. But end of the day they still have the recurring money printer of Blizzard propping them up. WoW, HotS, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and especially Overwatch will keep ActiBliz going for a long, long, long time.
I am wary thanks to Disney Infinity saying they were doing the same thing and then they just canned the whole thing.
I’ve made many an offering at my altar built for RNGesus, my prayers have been answered about 40/60. I guess I need better sacrifices, I mean offerings.
