It’s a pretty easy to miss detail but *spoilers* (ye have been warned) MT’s are born to be made into demons, which is what Prompto is. Also, his biological father is Verstael, who runs all of the experiments (Like Hojo except Prompto doesn’t burn down any villages) He was created to be a test subject.
