Looking back I have taught swimming to over 2500 kids and adults. These varied from parent toddler classes to coaching swim and water polo teams. Especially with the little ones your attitude around the water is extremely important.

Another item to consider is when to get tax advice. It is not all about geetting the taxes done it is about not paying more than you need to. Having someone to call about many of these issues is huge. Timing of events can make a big difference.

There are some good uses I would disagree about needed to track them or arrange rides. However I do think the bad outweighs the good.

Every school, gym, pool, etc I can think of has a phone they can call from. My child has called from the office and pool to get picked up. If they are practicing at a park or random field I bet the coach would let them make that call.
