I think a lot of people are also snagging them in the hopes of them someday being valuable, since, while it boggles my mind, a ton of upscale streetwear companies stuff skyrockets in value.  Difference though is that these things are being super mass produced, not a limited edition drop of like 300.

My nostalgia for Happy Meals is always wanting one but my parents never being able afford it.

nobody cares about the toys really, it’s a nostalgia grab.
