I had a good experience with a diminished value claim; basically I wrote a demand letter to the insurance company for what I believed the diminished value to be, they countered with a slightly lower but still reasonable amount, I accepted and they sent a check. Doesn’t always work that way, but it definitely doesn’t

Guy that buys cars for a living tells reader to buy new car instead of maintaining old car. Color me surprised.

The rim size to car size ratio is getting out of control. We’re all going to be driving electric donks with 20 inch touch screens in 15 years.

Can they get a better union than the UAW though?

I’m not sure you know what a scab actually is...

You realize the workers didn’t want to unionize, right? They’re not being oppressed.

What year is this?

It’s starts almost $10k more than a Raptor, and that’s assuming you use a base Canyon, which is doubtful.

They're leaning heavily into the 100 truck limited run, to be sure.

Btw everyone, the new Colorado ZR2 Bison is 50k.

Im sorry...where did they come up with that price again? The most expensive part of this build is the supercharger and that cost (with extensive tuning) no more than 10k. There is MAYBE another 10k in parts and labor but 40 grand?! Do they really think the nostalgia is going to take customers that far over the edge of

The trans is the 8L45 which shares much of the internal components with the 8L90 in the full size trucks and is still rated to tow 7900lbs. It can definitely withstand 455hp, especially unloaded.

Hahahahahaha $40k?????? That’s like $15k of work, tops.

Great idea but not 40k great.

Those are ambitious goals, good for them. I’m still very interested in an electric or plug-in hybrid pickup, but when I went to pre-order on the Rivian website and they told me they are only building the $100k trims to start, I was out (for now). It’s understandable but disappointing.

Decent, but needs a lift and knobbly tires...

Alex Choi....why does his name ring a bell...oh right! Hes a douche.

I just want to know how loud that cage is in the standing mile.

It’s pretty easy to find a dealership willing to sell the new model at 5% below invoice. Combine that with what rumors indicate are a glut of JLs starting to pile up on lots and it seems unappealing to buy a used recent Wrangler instead of new.
