I have the $10 30oz Walmart version and it kept water cold (no ice) in my truck on a 95degree day while I jogged for an hour. No reason to drop $40 on a Yeti or Orca. I would pay more it they were American made but none of them are to my knowledge.

Standard 5/4(five-quarter) deck boards are a true 1". The 1x boards are only 3/4" so that is why they probably used 2x material(net 1.5"). I don’t know why they didn’t just use treated 2x6 boards. Only water sealing the bottom and staining the top will still lead to rot in the future.
