Where do you get your info 2014?

Dana Axles for the Bronco have already been confirmed by Dana.

Yeah, while that’s technically true, 4.7cms (ie 2 inches) isn’t really ‘smaller’ enough to provide differentiation in the marketplace.
So while Hammerhead misspoke on the size, the end result of either being less than 1% bigger/smaller is that they are in the same segment.

Biggest problem with the current HiLux is that it doesn’t compete with other vehicles so much as take away from Toyota’s existing Tacoma/4Runner sales. If it expanded their market appeal it would make sense, but it simply compete against itself.
In order for Toyota, or Ford, or Doge or GM to have the motivation to

The Wrangler’s primary value prop wasn’t novelty it was a convertible practical 4x4. Sure you can add novelty in there, but it’s far from the primary reason.
If it was novelty alone, sales would’ve mirrored the FJ’s or the FRS/BRZ which is a significant initial bump and then a major drop off. The Wrangler kept/keeps

The biggest issue is that the NSG370 is too weak (only handles 370NM/272lbft) to drive the powerplants that they want to put in the Wrangler, even the updated Pentastar is supposed to be close to 300lbft, same with that potential Turbo4. They already have to de-tune the export 2.8L CRD diesel if it has a manual

Taking the doors off reduces wind noise vs the buffeting of having the roof off and the doors closed (even with the windows open).
Also, driving around with AC on instead of top-down is simply a sign of “the change” , seek medical assistance for that. Perhaps that’s also what’s wrong with the people in PA.

Can’t keep the NSG370 manual with a good diesel, it’s not even strong enough to handle the current 2.8L CRD on export vehicles without being de-tuned by about 40 lb-ft. The 370 in the NSG370 stands for 370NM/270lb-ft, and they are already pushing it with the detuned CRD pushin 400NM, let alone its full Wrangler 460NM

Wrangler Sport doesn’t come with Dana 44 unless you upgrade to the HD package, Sahara can even be made that way though most ship D30/D44. My Sport as the cottage is D30+D30, but my Rubi and X are D44. However one of the new test mules was spotted with a Chrysler 9.25 in the rear of it, so that may mean a beefier

I get what you’re saying, my issue is their urban focus, and metrics that skew unrealistically, so much so that the Tesla broke their scale, which shows a lack of internal validity let alone external validity across disparate platforms.

Whether they are thought to be cheaply made or not wouldn’t affect them being over-priced. If Supply exceeded Demand, then they would be over-priced, the fact that the opposite is the case shows that they are under-priced, that they are tops in resale value shows that they hold that value over 3-5 years in light of

I would say that might be you again, however you’d actually need to graduate from something to accomplish that. You who still can’t support your false claim, while professional review sites give awards to the Wrangler that are in direct opposition to your BS supposition.

We definitely found a fanboi in you who bitches about other mfrs, and more importantly who missed not only the point of the top vehicles under $25,000 awards, but also lowest cost of ownership and top resale awards, which all kinda negate the BS of your comments.

Agree about wanting the Hemi, but the updated Pentastar with two-stage VVT & EGR gives it more+early torque, better MPG, and also sounds throatier too. Will be nice to see it in the Wrangler after seeing it start in the GC (like the original Pentastar for that matter).

Which is why the current Wrangler earns best vehicle under $25K awards all the time, yet people moan about price... because you’ve got nothing else to moan about.
Stick with your bus pass and get a better job J.

That’s because you were never any good at geometry, boy !

Well they do sell the Wrangler SRA tyres with the base sport , and those are pretty low rolling-resistance. I’m not sure what gets chosen for EPA testing and how. They currently have about 5-7 tyre variants on the Wrangler already, so making things specific to highway-lowRR, mixed-eco, mixed-aggressive and

Current 6-speed cannot handle the torque numbers of the Diesel (even the 2.8L CRD has to be detuned for it, let alone the 3.0L EcoDiesel).
And when the Pentastar gets the improved two-stage VVT and EGR, that is expected to boost Towrque by ~15% to bring it to 300lb-ft which is about 20lb-ft/40NM past the NSG370's

The Wrangler already rides KO2s in the BackCountry edition, so not sure what the author is talking about, especially when it’s Duratracs in the pictures, which still remains the primary ‘upgrade’ of most multi-surface Wranglers out there today (I ride the Territory which is a more agressive version of the Duratrac,

There’s no ‘if’, Cherokee IS leaving. The only if was whether the UAW is going to let the production move to MEXICO as was the original plan in September. But the Cherokee leaving Toledo north is a done deal.
