I was playing System Shock 2 on a K6-233 with a Voodoo 2 graphics card. It wasn’t running very well at the time (I’d just started playing the game and hadn’t turned the graphics detail down yet). One of “The Many” — a zombie-like creature carrying a pipe — was coming down a hallway. I ducked into a room with a window

Here’s a fun, frightening trip down Red Dead Redemption memory lane (and also a throwback to my very first post on Kotaku!):

She’s pulling in $23 million/year hosting a national TV show, and meanwhile you’re stuck here writing comments on a Jezebel article. Just let that sink in. Enjoy your (sad) life.

I saw this great, great movie about the quiz show scandals from your grandfather’s day on NBC (seriously, watch that movie!) and the Today Show used to have a...monkey as a co-host! A monkey! Clearly the Today Show and this whole country has always been a mess, lol!

On the other hand, if a game requires you to play through it multiple times before it gets good, isn’t that pretty bad design? I mean, how often do you expect anyone to play through an entire game before they’re allowed to say they didn’t like it?

I’m so confused about the whole Nier: Automata situation.
I found the game to be atrocious in almost every aspect.
Gameplay, game design, level design, story, the whole thing was an unoptimized buggy mess with one of the most uninspired, brown, worlds I’ve seen.
But somehow it’s gotten some great scores and people seem

It’s a network. At the two networks I was at, I had to hit the post because I was on the air at four hundred stations across the country. There is no wiggle room. The automation clicks over at a certain time, period. Hit the post.

And Brokaw is a total asshole here. He’s asked one question and answers another, with about 50 seconds left in the segment. He knows better; he knows he’s going to get cut off; he knows how that’s going look; he knows that’s going to throw Kelly off-script. He’s not an analyst or a political organizer; he’s a

Ok. In her defense, as someone who has been a network anchor (radio) and is still in broadcast news in a top 10 market, she likely DID have a hard break. You’re up against automation and you absolutely must hit that break (hit that post). If you don’t, the automation will cut you off. You have to backtime your way

Yeah, came here to post about XB1 players getting shit on in Destiny.

Not only that, but the Xbox one s nor One x will get 4k resolutions

The Xbox/MS hate is strong with this article!

Especially with them saying the Rise of Iron exclusive content will come to Xbox around October. A month after Destiny 2 comes out...so not only did they withhold it a year but they’re releasing it at a time when I no longer care and probably won’t go back to it.

And somehow getting fans to cheer for it!

So, by that logic... just to double check here Jason, is the PS4 Pro also “unappealing” to you?

It’s dumb, but anything is better than Sony paying Bungie to literally withhold Destiny content from Xbox and PC players and then calling it exclusive.

My god, it’s beautiful. The urge to throw away money intensifies...

I’ve actually tried looking into if my current receiver is capable of outputting at 4k or not but I haven’t had much luck finding a definitive answer. HDR might throw a wrench in the works though if it can. I really should find out for certain before I throw down the money on a new one.

I honestly don’t care about the cost. $500 is my limit and I’m okay spending it. I don’t make money to not spend it on things I want now and again. It’ll improve the games I currently own in various ways until I do get a 4K TV in a few months or sooner. It’s not like it’s going to get a price drop from launch until

I really don’t hate the“One X” branding (people get by just fine with an S version iPhone every year without getting confused) but “Xbox Scorpio” would have just been cool. These companies never go with the cool sounding names though.
