On the web interface for Dropbox there doesn't seem to be a way to paste in a link, if I click on the text box on the basic uploader it opens a browse window and on Mac OS X there is no way to paste a link into the file browsing window.

@hanswurst0815: You might be able to save more memory if you switch from Win7 to a Linux OS, or even XP
@Marand: with your dislike of iTunes, I was wondering what you use? I still generally use iTunes because it's handling of playlists is decent (better than Win Media Player) and it's keyboard shortcuts are good. I would like to use something else, but I want something that can handle "smart" playlists since I don't…
@Celtic1888: I had a hall director in college that insisted on doing that, so near the end of the semester I went through and sent him a bunch of read receipts because I was annoyed at him, I really hope I flooded his inbox, I think I did because he sent me an email about my email not working right, I got a chuckle…
@iFarbs: Lubuntu [lubuntu.net] is even more lightweight than xubuntu. I would suggest you pick a long term support (LTS) release, since you won't want all the shiny new features.
@xaronax: at this point you should just run Cat6, that way you can be ready for the future (plus it's only marginal more expensive)
If you install the Tor bundle you can setup uTorrent (or any other socks compatible client) to proxy through it
I am wondering if any fellow lifehackers could suggest a tool for changing the mac address of a Windows 7 x64 system?
@Hasteur: From what I saw online TinyXP is just a bunch of drivers and reg hacks, what are you doing to use it as a VPN solution?
