Transparent aluminum! Somebody alert the Nobel Prize selection committee!

@BKJ216: 4/3 has almost no inherent size advantage over APS-C. It's the fact that m4/3 (and all MILCs) removes the mirror box that makes the cameras smaller. This "feature" means the back flange distance is reduced, shrinking the size of the camera.

@tomsomething: What he's saying is that even a color sensor uses a Bayer filter [en.wikipedia.org] since CCDs and such can only see in black and white.

@leoaugust: The person who made the composite said it was just a quick and dirty job to get it up on the website. These were made with the non-certified jpgs, since they only spit out the real pictures every couple of months.

@Justin.stone: The glow coming from behind the black paint job is just the light halo from Dione taken with the red and green filters on, respectively. Dione was combined on the blue exposure in this composite, and since Dione moves relative to Titan during the process the other two exposures (red/green) are out of

@badmoon: It thinks you're closing a html tag. I don't actually remember how to do it, but it's something odd.

@2 replies: Uh, 1300 million is 1.3 billion. If you removed 230 million from 1300 million, you would end up with a billion and change. Assuming his numbers are right.

@Nitesh Singh: The control dial on the Fujifilm S5600 is kinda out there. It's really asking to get broken off. At least he got a neat one-off replacement!

@truthtellah: It's not an SLR. No Reflex mirror (Single-Lens Reflex). It is a bridge camera with the ability to adjust lens zoom with a zoom ring.

Once you get past the eye melting, it's actually pretty easy to read for a Tokyoflash watch.

I think that may be the first ever time Little Gamers has made me laugh.

@MikeK: I need to get a pair of those. I went to the DMB shows in Camden, and the first night I was in the 4th row right in front of the left side speaker stack. I couldn't hear correctly out of my left ear for about 2 months.

The fact that there are people that do this every day both horrifies me and makes me happy that I don't have to do it.

This plugin just creates frames inbetween the key frames the camera actually captures. Impressive technology, but doesn't allow the 7D to magically capture 1,000 fps.

@Billiam_Bisquits: DPReview says the 30mm (which I missed because I'm fairly dense) is actually quite sharp. Bit soft in the corners wide open (center is impressively sharp for f/2 though), but stopped down to f/4 and it's really sharp across the frame.

@RitaDoe: APS-C is 1.5-1.6x crop. This is not a m4/3rds camera, which would make it a 2x crop.

@Markarian: The NX series uses it's own lenses and mount. In a flash of creativity, Samsung decided to call it the NX mount.

So it still doesn't fit in my pocket, is missing almost all of the hardware buttons for changing settings, and the screen is AMOLED so I can't look at the viewfinder when it's sunny. Sign me up!

@jaz350z: I think he topped out at 102.7 on pitch/fx, which is the only measurement which should be trusted. Radar guns are inaccurate.

The R300 (9500/9700/9800) was the greatest graphics chipset ever.
