@tomsomething: I suppose. There is something to be said for "If you don't want it on video, you probably shouldn't be doing it in Times Square for heaven's sake" though. A bit of logic on the part of the girl + family would have gone a long way here.

@tomsomething: It feels a bit wrong, but he's well within his rights to tape this. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not ok.

@UhOK: The EVF will still black out when you take a picture, since the sensor can't do live view and read out a picture at the same time. An EVF's blackout is more obtrusive when at higher drive rates since you don't get that half instant of information from mirror flip down.

120 megapixel images at 9.5 fps. We're gonna need a bigger memory card...

I bought a PSP for VC2. See what you made me do Sega? All your fault.

EVFs are the kiss of death for a DSLR imo. They just look odd, and make continuous drive useless for following a moving subject since the viewfinder blackout is much more obtrusive. Giving away a third of a stop of light just for funsies isn't exactly great either.

@Slinkytech: You can get caught in this cycle forever with cameras. Just buy it and go take pictures!

#2 is Iceland. Or it looks exactly like Iceland did when I went there this spring.

Lower Merion isn't a part of the Philadelphia school system. Lower Merion is located in Montgomery county, which is a suburb of Philadelphia.

I haven't been this excited for a movie in quite some time. The similarity between these two trailers really shows how well they captured the style of the graphic novel in movie form.

I'm pretty sure that minimum focus distance being 0.6mm is a typo on the JapanTrends website, since it says right after the MFD for close up photography is 11.8".

@im2fools: I guess the IS would be helpful if you had an espresso that large...

6 points of data over a 7 month period does not a statistically significant trend make.

I suggest people read the WSJ article linked here, it's very interesting.

@RaithMoracus: I hear the United States of America is a large country. Finland on the other hand, is not.

@theGreenCabbage: Until you have to hold it with the 18-200 on it. And then it's painful.

I want one, but I am honestly completly terrified of it. After reading that Blue Light Hazard page on Wicker Lasers' site, it's basically just a matter of time until you permanently blind yourself and/or others with this thing.

The extremely callous way Apple is handling this situation disappoints me. The response to "My phone isn't working when I hold it the way everyone holds it" shouldn't be "Buy our 30 dollar piece of rubber".

All I want is for that awesome orange 3DS to actually come stateside. Sick of all the good colors being restricted to Japan.
